August 31st, 2021,

Home & Community Support Services of Grey Bruce (HCSS) is excited to introduce its newest team member, Rachel Taylor, who will be joining the team as Community Development and Philanthropy Coordinator effective August 30, 2021.

“It was just over 16 years ago that my husband and I choose to relocate to the Grey/Bruce area to raise our young family. After a number of years working with volunteer groups and organizations I was inspired to make a career change into fundraising and resource development. This allowed me to bring my complement of experience, education and skills together to assisting with impactful local community building.”

Fresh from completing her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation, Rachel is excited about the opportunity for growth she sees for Home & Community Support Services of Grey Bruce. Rachel is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and brings extensive experience fundraising with The Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce and Bruce County. In addition to her fundraising expertise, Rachel is also an accomplished baker and loves building LEGO.

In Rachel’s own words, “I get tremendous satisfaction from a job well done. I want to use my talents with others that share my commitment to strengthening community”. Please join us in extending Rachel a warm welcome to Home & Community Support Services of Grey Bruce.
